Private Equity
The firm makes private equity investments in the insurance distribution and insurance services segments. We manage a private equity fund of committed equity capital focused on insurance distribution. The fund focuses on acquiring property-casualty independent insurance agencies. We also make private equity investments in insurance services companies that provide claims administration, subrogation recovery, underwriting services and business process outsourcing services to insurance companies.

The firm manages a private equity fund focused on insurance distribution. The fund recently closed on the first round of $30 million of committed equity capital. Cincinnatus Partners I, LP is an open fund and thus its investors will be able to increase their equity investments in the future if so desired. The fund is expected to grow to $150 million in committed equity capital over the next several years.
The existing fund is expected to make between 10-13 acquisitions of property-casualty independent insurance agencies. The fund will invest in the following types of businesses:

Independent insurance agencies focusing on the distribution of property-casualty insurance and representing multiple insurance companies

Business mix comprised predominately of personal lines, agricultural and small commercial coverages. Books of business will consist primarily of preferred and standard business.
